Highly Enantioselective Hydrogenation of a-Keto Esters Catalyzed by Ru-Tunephos Complexes Highly Enantioselective Hydrogenation of a-Keto Esters
SYNLETT 2006, No. 8, pp 1169–117215.05.2006 Advanced online publication: 10.03.2006 DOI: 10.1055/s-2006-932461; Art ID: W30605ST © Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart · New York Abstract: Various enantiomerically pure a-hydroxy esters were synthesized by asymmetric hydrogenation of a-keto esters catalyzed by Ru-Cn-Tunephos complex. Up to 97.1% ee has been achieved for both a-aryl and a-alkyl substitu...

absorption process. ) Using the value Grs/4m=12, we obtain gQ, ff—11.7X10 "erg cm', giving an absorption rate of 6 sec ' in hydrogen. Verification or refutation of this prediction would be proof, one way or the other, of the presence or absence of any p-meson weak couplings in addition to (A2) and (E2). It seems plausible that experiments will either agree with this figure of 6 sec ' or will gi...

متن کاملCopper-catalyzed cascade reactions of α,β-unsaturated esters with keto esters
A copper-catalyzed cascade reaction of α,β-unsaturated esters with keto esters is reported. It features a copper-catalyzed reductive aldolization followed by a lactonization. This method provides a facile approach to prepare γ-carboxymethyl-γ-lactones and δ-carboxymethyl-δ-lactones under mild reaction conditions.
متن کاملDiastereoselectivity in the Carroll rearrangement of b-keto esters of tertiary allylic alcohols
Carroll rearrangement of b-keto esters derived from tertiary allylic alcohols, for example, 7, under basic conditions followed by decarboxylation of the resulting b-keto acids yielded the expected c,d-unsaturated methyl ketones 8 with a range of olefin geometries from 100:0 to 1:1.8 E=Z, depending on the relative steric requirements of the two groups at the allylic center. 2003 Elsevier Ltd. Al...
